Sometimes you find a fabric that just speaks to you and it takes on a life of its own. Thats what happened  when I came across this Panda print fabric when I was in New York City last month. It was fun creating these adorable outfits!

"JUST DANCE"

Yesterday I made my first Dance related outfit and I am hooked. I thought I was just jumping on the "Girl of the Year " train, but something else happened. Both my daughters danced from about 4 years old to 16 years old and making this outfit

brought back long forgotten memories. For those years Dance was our life. We were at the studio 2 mights a week plus every Saturday. I even volunteered to man the reception desk and SEW, SEW SEW! So many friendships were formed not only for the dancers , but also for us Moms. It was a wonderful chapter in my relationship with my Daughters and brought us closer. So I think that this wont be the last outfit you will see in the "Just Dance" collection!

Fabrics

Sometimes you just happen upon a great fabric that has endless possibilities. This little piece of purple Batik ,I found in a fabric store remnant bin for $1.00, so how could I resist. I am still always amazed that in a few hours you can go from a simple piece of fabric , to something beautiful!!

"Black Cats"

My new obsession lately has been the Heart For Hearts Dolls. They have the sweetest faces and are fun to style. This little outfit I call "Black Cats".                                          

   It is a little bit edgy and fun! It comes with a hand knit sweater that features two black cats with green stone eyes. It is trimmed in green and has 3/4 sleeves. 

 It also comes with a little black and white skirt and green cropped leggings.

It is finished with a black headband to frame this sweet little face!!

Outfit of the week!

Spring has finally sprung here in Canada and We can finally get out for some pics!

This sweet little outfit is perfect for a day out. The dress is grey with turquoise and red floral detail. It is accented with turquoise gingham collar and pockets and trimmed with tiny red buttons. Turquoise felted hat with red gingham band is the perfect companion for this outfit!

                                                                                  

Its been too long since my last post and lots has been going on here at 123 Mulberry Street. I will try to catch you up later. Today I just want to begin a new regular feature called "Outfit of the Week." I will regularly post new outfits that will be available in my Etsy Shop!

Todays outfit is a a great one for Spring! It comes with 4 pieces to mix and match!
